Revello's Pizza
The "water" of pizza.
by heyna or noThere's absolutely nothing special about this pizza. My friend took me to Revello's over the Christmas holiday -- she was really excited for me to try Old Forge style pizza. Neither of us had been to Revello's, but the "good place" to go -- which is across the street from this place -- had a line going out the door. So, we went into Revello's and ordered some single slices of both white and red pizza. I was expecting to be blown away, but honestly, there was nothing special about it at all. It was edible, but I certainly wouldn't take the drive up to Old Forge in the future to eat this pizza again. As my friend so eloquently put it, this pizza is the "water" of pizza -- it doesn't taste like much of anything and there's nothing special about it.
