Should I immunize my child?

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), all children should be immunized to protect them from the numerous risks they face if left exposed to certain viruses. Although the subject of immunization refusal is a hot button issue that’s gained a lot of publicity, respectable authorities like the AAP maintain that this kind of opposition is based on misconceptions.

Another major issue of concern is the fact that many public and private schools will not admit children who have not had all of their required immunizations. Contact your local school board today to find out what immunizations are required, or contact a physician if you still have questions.
