How do I install a ceiling fan?

It’s easy to install a ceiling fan in place of an existing lighting fixture, and apart from a screwdriver, most of the required tools will be provided with the kit.
- Shut off the power.
- Remove the fixture you’re replacing by unscrewing all bolts and unplugging the electrical wiring that connects to the power source above the ceiling.
- Attach the mounting bracket that’s provided in your ceiling fan kit.
- Connect the new fan’s wiring to the power source.
- Mount the fan unit to the mounting bracket and tighten all bolts.
- Restore power and test the fan motor.
- Install fan blades and peripheral accessories.
