How do I install my refrigerator icemaker?

Most refrigerators today come with automatic icemakers that need to be hooked up to a water supply in order to work. This is a relatively simple task that you can accomplish by buying an ice maker installation kit which will contain everything you need.
- Look under the kitchen sink, find the cold water pipe that connects to it, and close the valve to turn off the water.
- Tap into the cold water line by installing a saddle valve that will allow you to draw water from the line into your fridge.
- Run tubing from the valve into the icemaker inlet on the back of your refrigerator.
- Turn the water back on.
