Can I pack my clothes in my dresser, or will the movers require me to pack my clothes separately?

Moving clothes can be a challenging prospect, dependent upon the size of your wardrobe. If you have a dresser full of clothing, you don’t have to empty out your drawers into boxes. Most moving companies will move your dresser as long as you’ve packed it with light clothing and haven’t stuffed the drawers full of heavy objects like books.

Another good idea when packing clothes for a move is to fill all of your empty suitcases with clothing so that you can cut down on the number of boxes used and save space.
