Find a Business, Product, or Service

1. Select the Business tab on the homepage.
2. Type the PRODUCT / SERVICE or NAME OF BUSINESS you are looking for.
3. Type the city, state, and/or zip code of the LOCATION you are searching in.
4. Click FIND IT.

Find People

Search for people by name

1. Select the People tab on the homepage.
2. Type the person's FIRST NAME or initial (optional).
3. Type the person's LAST NAME.
4. Type the city, state, and/or zip code where the person lives in LOCATION.
5. Click FIND IT.

Reverse Lookup

Search for a person or business by phone number

1. Select the Reverse Lookup tab on the homepage.
2. Type the PHONE NUMBER (including area code).
3. Click FIND IT.

Search for a person or business by address

1. Select the Reverse Lookup tab on the homepage.
2. Click the Reverse Address Search link (under the PHONE NUMBER box).
   A new window opens and displays the addresses.com site.
3. Type the Street Adress in the Reverse Address Search section.
4. Type the City.
5. Select the State from the drop-down menu.
6. Select Include Professional Listings if you want to include businesses in your search results.
7. Click SEARCH.

Refine/Filter search results

The Refine your search box on the results page helps you expand or narrow the amount of listings that appear for your most recent search. The different filtering options help you pinpoint what you’re looking for. To clear all filter selections for a given feature, hover your cursor within the box for that feature and select the X that appears in the upper-right corner.

Show listings with

Allows you to select specific listing options, such as coupons and websites, to view businesses with those features.

1. Select the checkbox associated with the feature(s) that you want results for. Once a filter is selected, a checkmark appears and the results are updated. You can also click the feature to select.
2. To remove a filter, click the feature or checkbox again. The checkmark is removed and the results are updated.

Narrow by user rating

This option appears only for categories with ratings & reviews.

1. Place your cursor over the star rating you want to narrow your results by and click to select the rating. The results update to display only listings with the selected rating or higher.
2. Repeat this process to change your selection.

Narrow by cuisine (Restaurants only)

The choices available are determined by the search results.

1. Select the checkbox associated with the cuisine type(s) that you want results for. Once a filter is selected, a checkmark appears next to the cuisine and the results are updated. You can also click the cuisine name to select.
2. To remove a filter, click the cuisine or checkbox again. The checkmark is removed and the results are updated.

Search by Distance

To search by distance, enter a street address in the LOCATION box when performing your search. The Search within box appears in the filter section on the results page allowing you to choose a specific range of miles for which you want to show results. Results are ordered from the closest to furthest distance from the address.

1. Click the number or slide the yellow marker on the miles range to filter the results within that distance from the LOCATION. The results are updated.
2. Change the mileage by selecting another number in the Search within box.

View Results for a Larger Search Area

Expand or narrow your search area without having to re-enter your search information. Expanding your search area can provide you with more results to choose from and narrowing provides you with less results to choose from.

Expand search area

1. Click an area listed within the Expand search area filter. The results are expanded to include listings in the new location.
2. If you want to search a location not listed, type it in the LOCATION box.

Narrow search area

1. Click an area listed within the Narrow search area filter. The results are narrowed to include only those listings within the new location.
2. If you want to search a location not listed, type it in the LOCATION box.

Popular Searches

Based on your search terms(s), other related searches may display in the POPULAR SEARCHES area below the PRODUCT/SERVICE box to help you find what you're looking for.

If you would like to search using one of these terms, click the term and new search results are displayed.

Sort search results

Sort search results alphabetically A to Z

Click the Sort by drop-down menu on the search results page and select A to Z. The results display in alphabetical order.

View Coupon

When you see the button, the business has a coupon for you to use. There are several ways to view a coupon:

1. Click the button.
2. Click the Coupon tab on the details page for the business or select from the QuickInfo pop-up window.

View Ad

When you see the button, the advertiser has additional information to view. Click the button to view advertiser information. There are several ways to view an ad:

1. Click the button.
2. Click the View Ad tab on the details page for the business or select from the QuickInfo pop-up window.

View Menu

When you see the button, there is a menu for that business that you can view. There are several ways to view a menu:

1. Click the button.
2. Click the Menu tab on the details page for the business or select from the QuickInfo pop-up window.

View Video

When you see the video button, you have a chance to see, hear, and experience first-hand what a business has to offer. To play a video:

1. Click the Play button on the video thumbnail.

Get Directions

To or from a business location

1. Click the Directions link below the business listing information. The Get Directions page displays.
2. Type the street address, city and state and/or zip in the START box.
3. Choose to get directions with the Shortest Driving Time or Shortest Distance from the starting address.
4. Click the GET DIRECTIONS button. The directions display along with a map.

You can also...

• Print the directions by clicking the PRINT THIS PAGE button.
• Get directions back to the starting point by clicking the REVERSE DIRECTIONS button.

To or from a person's address

1. Perform a People search to locate the person's information.
2. Click the person's name on the results page. Details for that person display.
3. Click the Directions link below the address or click the GET DIRECTIONS button above the map. The directions page displays with the person's address information in the End Address section.
4. Select the Route Type as either Fastest or Shortest Distance.
5. Type the starting street Address in the Start Address section.
6. Type the City.
7. Select the State from the drop-down menu.
8. Type the Zip.
9. Click the GET DIRECTIONS button. The directions display along with a map.

You can also...

• Print the directions by clicking the PRINT Results button below the map.
• Get directions from the person's address by cutting and pasting the person's address information from the End Address section into the Start Address section.

Use Maps

Display Map

Click the Map View link from the search results page to see the map associated with your search results. Businesses are numbered and labeled on the map. Click List View to close the map and return to the main search results page.

Zoom in & out

You can change the view of the map by zooming in to see a closer view of the destination or zooming out to see a broader area.

Click the  button to zoom in on the map or click the  button to zoom out.

Map views

You can view a map 4 ways. To change the view, click the Road, Aerial, Bird's Eye or Labels buttons on the map. The default view is always Road.

Share business information

Share or save information you found so you can easily access it again.

Save to calendar or address book

1. Click the Share link displayed on the business details page.
2. Select Save to your calendar or address book from the menu.
3. Select the program that supports the calendar or address book you use.
4. The File Download window appears. Open or Save the listing.

Save as PDF or Word document

1. Click the Share link displayed on the business details page.
2. Select Save to PDF or Word from the menu.
3. Select the file format you want to save the business details in: Word or PDF.
4. The File Download window appears. Open or Save the listing.
5. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Save to your favorites - including social bookmarks

Save business details to easily access later.

1. Click the Share link displayed on the business details page.
2. Select Save to your favorites from the menu.
3. Select where you want to add the bookmark (ex. Facebook).
4. Click the SEND LISTING button. You are directed to the bookmark site you chose.
5. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Print business information

1. Click the Print This Page link displayed on the business details page.
2. The Contact Info and Business Info as displayed on the page is what will print. You can choose to limit what you print by clicking either the Contact Info or Business Info link at the top of the page.
3. Click the Print button. The Print dialog box appears.
4. Choose the printer and the number of copies to print.
5. Click the OK button.
6. Click the X in the browser window to return to the business detail page.

Send business information

Send business details to a friend or to yourself.

Send by Email

1. Click the Save to email link displayed on the business details page.
2. Type your email address in the first box.
3. Type the email address(es) you want to send the business listing to.
4. Click the SEND LISTING button. You and the email address(es) you entered will receive an email from Yellowbook with the business details.
5. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Send by text message

1. Click the Save link displayed on the business details page.
2. Select Send by text message from the menu.
3. Type the phone number you want to send the business listing to.
4. Type a short note. This is optional and has a 10-character maximum.
5. Click the SEND LISTING button. The text message will be sent from "10936".
6. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Send by instant messenger (IM)

1. Click the Save link displayed on the business details page.
2. Select Send by instant messenger from the menu.
3. Select the recipient's instant messenger service (ex. AOL Messenger).
4. Enter the recipient's account name for the above selected service.
5. Type a message (optional).
6. Click the SEND LISTING button.
7. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Have a business call you

When you see the button, you can have the business call you at a time that is convenient.

1. Click the button on the business detail or search results page.
2. The Click to Call window opens. Click the NEXT STEP button.
3. Type your phone number. Click the NEXT STEP button.
4. Select the call time – the time you want the business to call you. Click the NEXT STEP button.
5. Confirm your information and click the CONNECT ME button.
   
   If the information is not correct, you can go back and make changes or, if you changed your mind all together, click the no thanks link.
6. Your phone will ring and you will be connected to the business.
7. Click the X button to return to the business detail page.

Who can write a review on yellowbook.com?

Any registered user of yellowbook.com can write a review of a listed business or service.

Does yellowbook.com read every review before it is posted?

No, however, reviews are regularly monitored for content that does not comply with the published site Conditions of Use.

How quickly are reviews posted on the site?

Almost immediately.

What information about a reviewer appears on the site?

Only the Display Name appears on the site. No other identifying information will be made public or shared with other companies or any entity outside of yellowbook.com. For more information on how yellowbook.com protects your privacy, read our Privacy Policy.

Can I respond to a review that has been posted about my business?

Any registered user can respond to a review.

Can I request to have Yellowbook remove a review of my business that I don't agree with?

Yellowbook.com does not remove negative reviews, however, if a review was written in error or does not comply with published Conditions of Use, click the flag to the right of the review or comment to report abuse and submit your complaint. Yellowbook will evaluate each complaint and may remove a review at their discretion.

Why aren't ratings & reviews available for certain listings?

Because some listings appear for certain categories that are of a sensitive nature, ratings & reviews are not included.

Will yellowbook.com edit or delete reviews?

Yellowbook will never edit a review, but reserves the right to delete a review if it is in violation of the Conditions of Use.

Rate or review a business

You must be a registered user to rate or review a business. You will be prompted to sign in or sign up if you are not currently logged into your account. Click the stars to select the rating. The more stars, the higher the rating.

To Write a review, type a title and write your review in the large box. You cannot add HTML, links, or format your text.

Edit or delete a review

You cannot edit or delete a review. If you wrote a review in error or come across one which does not comply with published Conditions of Use, click the flag to the right of the review or comment to report abuse and submit your request. Yellowbook will evaluate each request and may remove a review at their discretion.

Reply to a review

Select the Comment on this review link below the review. Type your comment and select Save to post the comment.

Report inappropriate content

If a review was written in error or does not comply with published Conditions of Use, click the flag to the right of the review or comment to report abuse and submit your complaint. Yellowbook will evaluate each complaint and may remove a review at their discretion.
