We were customers for over 3 years! We ALWAYS prepaid one month in advance (September's rent was paid at the end of July) in the interest of being exceptional customers. When my spouse turned in the unit at the end of August, the owner REFUSED to refund the prepaid rent for September. He called us bad customers because a few packing peanuts escaped and were in our unit or just outside of it. He whined that we trashed the unit. Jeez, it was a bit windy and it's a storage unit. He also owns a mattress store (1st Choice Mattress) and frequently advertises on Bloomington's Craigslist -- buyer beware, if this is how he treats good customers. I see how he is.
