I work with an access agency for the elderly over the age of 65, so the clients i work with are really in need of help. A client called me with concerns about a hospital bed she was renting from this vendor. Was never told that she would need someone to asst. her raising and lowering the railing. Poor woman was leaving the rails up and getting into the bed from the bottom and crawling her way to the top. Now this woman is elderly and fragile and this raised safety concerns for me. We called together to see what we could do to get her different railings or a different bed. I didnt get to catch the name of the gentleman we spoke to but he was very rude and not helpful at all. When the poor woman tried to explain her problem the guy flat out said "that is not our problem". Wow buddy you should make it your problem esp if you want to continue to get business. You should be concerned about your consumers needs. Didnt offer us any kind of resolution or peace of mind. Basically said if you want a hospital bed you need to have someone un latch it from the outside. This woman lives alone and doesnt have the strenth to reach outside the bed and un latch. When trying to ask what their return policy is the guy was rude and just siad "well you are going to pay for it until its returned to us and we are taking back the hoyer lift". Come on now what about some sensitivity. These are things this client needs but is unable to have now because your techs didnt properly explain the products before assembling and leaving, leaving this lady to fend for herself. Please A 2 Z hire some people with a better attitude and better customer service. I know i will not be referring my clients to your Manchester, CT office! And if i run into this same problem in your other locations i will advise my coworkers and providers we are contracted with to not refer anyone to this vendor as well.
