Sarbjit S. Virk O.D., Ph.D., F.O.A.A., Orthokeratologist Dr. Virk graduated from New England College of Optometry, in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1992. He has lived in the greater Seattle area for 18 years. Dr. Virk established Advanced Eyecare Solutions of Woodinville in 1996 and then opened Advanced Eyecare Solutions of Bellevue in 2004. Dr. Virk became a fellow of the Orthokeratology Academy of America April of 2007. Both practices are full scope primary eye care facilities. As an Optometric physician, Dr. Virk treats dry eyes, red eyes, glaucoma, foreign bodies and most disorders of the anterior part of the eye. His special interests are in pediatric care and specialty contact lenses, like orthokeratology. This procedure, in particular, reshapes the cornea while the person is sleeping and it is a safe alternative to the LASIK surgery for moderate corrections.
