DANGEROUS SERVICES-FRAUDULENT FEES & SERVICE CHARGES-ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE-FALSE ADVERTISEMENT-ETC.... Myself and my child were driving back here to Evansville after steve @ FixAuto(812)-217-6141, was suppose to have replaced steering gearbox, however instead rushed the job and cross threaded 2 bolts and broke another completely inside steering gearbox and created a life threatening situation;loss of ability to steer or control vehicle while driving up to 70mph. Upon contacting 'steve' @ Fix Auto and informing him of this matter 'He' (steve @ Fix Auto) stated he would not fix anything and would not perform any services without further funds and without legal actions. I had a certified master mechanic perform a thorough inspection of my vehicle and the official report states "The mechanic who had worked on this steering gearbox had known or should have known the bolts were broke and that it was not safe to operate this vehicle", the mechanic is 'Steve' @ Fix Auto @ 812-217-6141 or 812-715-3370. Also I had contacted Auto Zone and was informed that the auto part for my vehicle 94 dollars and not the 240 that he charged me for the part . HE THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO GET AWAY WITH WHAT HE DONE BECAUSE I AM NOT A RESIDENT OF EVANSVILLE AND WOULD HAVE BEEN LONG GONE WHEN IT BROKE AGAIN .. IF HE HAD BEEN A AIRPLANE MECHANIC HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CRIMINALLY CHARGED!!!!
