FHCA Foundations Health Career Academy is an approved school that offers a 4-week/80-hour blended Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) program. Our 4-week program allows students to earn both certifications simultaneously, which offers increased opportunities for employment upon class completion. The class curriculum is intended to teach students how to properly care for elderly or geriatric patients, but can also be useful in caring for special needs patients of any age. Within the classroom setting students will learn nutrition, infection control, safety in home and facility settings, and how to assist patients with dressing, bathing, and grooming. The first 3 weeks of class will be lecture and skill taught on campus, and the last week will be in a local long-term care facility with hands on training. You can apply for a job and be ready to work and earning decent wages in a matter of weeks instead of year while in training.
