On Friday, July 22, 2011, two of us went to Jibby's at 5:10. The place was empty except for one man sitting at a table by himself. A waitress started to seat us until the hostess came running over and told us we couldn't sit at a table since it was theatre night and we didn't have a reservation. She did seat us at the bar. We ordered an appetizer and each of us ordered the pepperloin steak. The bartender brought my dinner salad almost immediately. I expected the appetizer to be served first. Also, I did not receive any bread or crackers with my salad. Those who came in later and sat at tables had loaves of bread. When the steaks came next, I pointed out that we had not received our appetizer. The bartender went to the kitchen, came back and told us the kitchen staff had forgotten the appetizer. We told him to skip the appetizer. He told us the order was being made and regardless of what we did, he would not charge us for the appetizer. When the bill came, the price of the appetizer had not been removed. We had to call the bartender over to correct the bill. When we left Jibby's, about 1/3 of the tables were still empty. And let's not overlook the fact that I could not tell that the pepperloin steak had any pepper on it.
