Miles Davis is also a professional musician. He regularly takes the shop apron off and puts his tux on for the symphony, jazz quartet or Broadway musical. As an accomplished performer on flute, piccolo, clarinet and saxophone, Miles knows how each horn should react, feel and sound. Our sales manager in Richmond, John Richardson, has eight years of instrument sales experience as well as a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies, a Masters degree in Saxophone Performance, and an extensive history of performing and teaching that includes teaching courses at the college and high school level. As an educator, his ensembles have been featured at the Kentucky Music Educators convention, and have been the guest ensemble at numerous jazz festivals. As a performer he has shared the stage with many notable musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Torme, Bobby Shew and others. With his experience in teaching, performing and sales, John can help with any musical need or situation.
