New Covenant exists to honor God as a family of growing disciples. Our history dates back to 1949 when 21 charter members began meeting at 25th Street and G Avenue NE. We are a nondenominational church that seeks to teach people how to live like Jesus. We are governed by our own elders, not an outside organization. And although we are somewhat large, we’re really just a collection of smaller groups and neighborhoods.
