Welcome to Northview Montessori School Thank you for your interest in Northview Montessori School. Established in 1976, our facility has provided a quality Montessori preschool program for the children of Boise for over 30 years. Our goal has always been to provide the best possible learning environment for each child in our care, By following the principles of Maria Montessori, renowned theorist and developer of curriculum and materials for early childhood education, we offer well-prepared classrooms and a wide variety of activities that stimulate a childs natural love of learning. The child learns by doing, the hands leading the mind, using the carefully designed Montessori materials which put abstract ideas into a concrete form that makes sense to the young child. We respect each child as an indivudual with his/her own developmental timetable, By allowing children to experience their own stage of development and helping them feel success without pressure we provied an excellent foundation for lifetime education. Degreed, Montessori Certified lead teachers in all classrooms full days. Individualized developmentally appropriate instruction. Four mixed-age primary classes. Separate Kindergarten/Pre-first class.
