bad business
manager talks bad about other businesses which would be ok if there was some truth to it, he spreads rumors and makes others look bad,but states improper facts, watch what you say around the manager unless you want him to talk about you

Worst Customer Service
I set up an appointment on a Monday for service to be completed on a Friday between 8am-12pm. On Thursday a rep. called and stated that my glass was not received for installation, but would be in on Friday morning which was fine since the appt. was for Friday. However , on Friday at 12pm I received an email stating my servce had been changed to the hours of 12pm-5pm. The agents at the toll- free number Assumed I was aware of the changes and were very rude, but reassured me they would be at my home by 3:30pm. The installer that came to my door was not only very rude upon his arrival at 415pm. LATE! I will never use this company and will never refer anyone I know to them in the future......

My daughter windsheild needed to be repair. I contacted Safelite . They gave me the best rate and they were at the house in two hours. I am very satified with the service.

They take no responsibility
We just had Safelite come out to repair a broken-in window on the passenger side on a VW Passat. Right after taking off the door panel, our car needed to be started and it would not start.
We could not replace the window at this point and had to get it towed. It turns out it was a blown fuse, which was clearly caused by the guy opening the door (Passats have a hard wire to the starter in the door).
When we approached Safelite and told them they caused the blown fuse, they took no responsibility and noted the mechanics "6 years of experience." They said it was not their fault at all and would not pay for the towing of the fuse.
Awful service, awful company. I recommend using your local guy and stop supporting these large money hungry companies.
