People love to visit Italy as it's a country steeped in history and rich in grand art, architecture, gorgeous landscapes, famous cities, and fantastic food. This video focuses on the last in the list, i.e., the famous foods of Italy. The first is the spaghetti carbonara, or Rome's most famous dish.

It's made up of only spaghetti with a seasoning of guanciale, black pepper, pecorino Romano, and eggs. Next is the ubiquitous pizza. There are so many ways to make it today, and it is so beloved that UNESCO recognizes it as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The third is the risotto, a creamy Italian delicacy made of short-grain arborio rice, broth, and some aromatics (e.g., saffron.) However, most risotto recipes rightfully include butter and cheese. Another of Italy's beloved foods is Lasagna. It is Garfield's favorite food and consists of egg pasta laid in several layers together with cheese, meaty ragù, and bechamel. Last on this list is dessert and a great way to end a fine dining experience in the best Italian food places. The dessert is Gelato, an ice cream made with less water, fat, and air than regular ice cream.
