Clear the area off any material that can interfere with the pouring process and prepare the sub-base. Use a granular fill to make it compact for stability. You can use open-grade stone or fine-grade stone. A sub-base should be around four to eight inches thick.
Prepare the form perimeter for holding the concrete and lay a separating fiber material between the sub-base and the concrete layer. Add wire mesh or rebar to form reinforcement support, then lay it inside the form. Mix your wet concrete well and gently pour it onto the prepared.
