1.Ask about their services
Different companies specialize in different things. Be sure to ask about their specialties and experience. They may offer services such as hardscaping or water features that help you beautify your lawn. Or, they may have a trained arborist, and they're the best folks to ask about trees.
Many lawn service companies can do light contracting work or maintenance as well.
2. Their experience Ask about how long they've been in business. Also, ask about their employees and their experience. A company who has been in business for a long time is likely to be more reputable and have the right qualifications for your project.
3. Payment methods Some companies want money upfront, and others will invoice you. Be sure you're on the same page with your landscaping company to be able to pay them promptly and fairly.
4. Past work done
See if they have any photos available of their projects, equipment, or anything else that shows you what they can accomplish.
