You'll also need banner material, such as 13 ounces of vinyl, a straight razor, banner tape, and a grommet punch.

The Roland 300 machine will measure the length and width of the banner for you. You will just need to have your image ready and loaded on your computer. It can take about 15 minutes to print a 2-foot by 6-foot banner on this type of machine. You can use the straight razor to trim off any extra white that you don't want on your banner. This will help you make a border around what's important for your banner. You can use something like a T-square to cut your border straight and leave about an inch around your banner. Next, flip over your banner and put your banner tape along the edges. You'll peel the tape and leave the adhesive part open and fold that over to make a seam by the edge. This will ensure durability for your banner.

The last step will be to attach the metal grommets with your grommet punch. To see this process of custom banner printing in more detail, please watch the video.
