When the temperature of the car window is below the dew point outside of the car, the moisture inside the car condenses on the windows and causes them to fog.

1. Keep the windows clean.

Keeping your car window clean is just a good rule of thumb in general, but it also helps prevent fog from building up. A clean window provides less surface area for moisture to settle.

2. Use the car heater.

One quick option to avoid the window fog is to warm the air in the car with the car heater.

3. Crack the window.

Cracking the window will help to bring the temperature inside the car closer to the temperature outside of it.

4. Use the air conditioner.

If you turn on the air conditioner, it will help to remove moisture from the air.

5. Apply an Anti-Fog product.

There are several anti-fog products that can be applied to windows, but they must only be used on the inside of the window.

Any one of these tips should be able to prevent or reduce fog buildup on your windows. Feel free to try each of them out and see which one works best for you.
