Afterward, he drills a hole into the basement, inserts the entire assembly through the hole, and then joins the sprinkler line in the basement. On the first floor, he extends the pipe horizontally through the wall.
Once upstairs, the installer runs the pipe inside the closet and uses metal pipes since it is an open space. The installer then inserts the last segment of metal pipe through the ceiling and into the attic. In this instance, he lays the pipes horizontally over the bedroom ceilings. He then inserts the pipe through the ceiling and fixes it in position. Finally, he screws in the sprinkler heads and fits the cap.
