How to Do the Project
Before installing the lights, put the system together, make sure they fit the area and test them out to make sure they work.
Then, use a measuring stick to make lines on the ceiling that outline the space and some lines where the bulbs will approximately be placed.
Mark holes for the placement of the assembly attachment. Be precise, and get ready to drill the holes in the ceiling. If there is no stud in the placement location, use screw anchors to adequately support the lights and keep them secured to the ceiling.
It will be necessary to get wired up to allow for power and a wall switch to turn the lights on and off. Many opt for an easy to install remote control power switch. If you aren't comfortable dealing with electrical work, hire a local lighting contractor to handle the installation.
