Looking your best has never been easier. Many consumers have turned to using a medical spa, also referred to as medspa, when addressing their beauty concerns. With the market for medispas continuing to expand, it's essential to understand the services they offer and the reasons behind their rapid growth.

Many will use a medspa to improve their looks with services such as botox, facials, and more. After the 2020 pandemic, the number of medspas has increased to over 8,800 nationwide, a 45% increase. The industry has grown to be valued at around 15 billion dollars in the United States.
Medspa patients come from a variety of backgrounds, however, the majority of patients are women aged 34 to 55. These women account for 88% of the total patients who use medspa services. During this recent growth period, medspas have begun to see more patients in their early 20s utilize the services to help enhance and preserve their looks.
The industry has moved away from being too clinical. This is to allow patients who come in to feel more at ease with the process and feel comfortable while the treatments are done. The more comfortable they feel, the more likely they are to return.
