Fixing Small Cracks in Your Windshield the Easy Way

When you can't get your windshield replaced or you don't really need to, then there are plenty of kits out there that can help you get that crack stopped in its tracks. The Permatex kit in the video has very simple steps that help you apply resin to the inside of the crack. What this does is seal the pieces of glass together to prevent spidering of the crack. Because car window replacement can get expensive, these kinds of kits are great preventatives!

If you don't need to replace your window, pick up one of these kits at your local automotive store. You'll have to create a seal around the crack with the provided column which allows you to pour the resin directly into the crack.

Voila! A few touch-ups at the end and you have a windshield that you didn't have to replace and can drive with for a little while longer!
