Metal or steel castings services are used to fabricate metals into angles, bars, channels, and other shapes from a process known as casting. This process involves pouring metal into a mold with the desired 3D or cross-sectional shape, which is then allowed to solidify.
The first metal casting type is die casting.
According to the video, die casting is a metal fabrication process in which molten metal is injected into mold cavities under high pressure and then cooled to form solid metal fragments.
The second metal casting type is sand casting. In this process, tightly packed sand is used to create a mold to which molten metal is added. The mold is allowed to cure for some time and then shaken to produce the finished metal part.
The third metal casting type is plaster casting. In this process, a plaster made of calcium sulfate or gypsum is used to create the mold to which molten metal is added. The benefit of this process is its cost-effectiveness. Even if the mold breaks, it can be easily replaced. Unfortunately, this method can't be used to mold metals that require high temperatures.
