There are some changes happening at The Phoenix and they are positive, We are proud to introduce our new Executive Chef Matt Dimond, Matt brings over 25 years of restaurant experience to The Phoenix, from being a dishwasher in a San Francisco espresso and desert caf© (where he was mesmerized by the bakers), to growing a pasta & pizza restaurant from a single location to three successful outlets in Sacramento, California, His career took a dramatic turn when Matt moved to Sonoma wine country and worked and learned from several fantastic chefs, Matt decided to move his family to Central Oregon and has spent the last three years as Chef de Cuisine at Staccatos under Executive Chef James Malone, Matt is excited to bring his skills to The Phoenix and build upon an already strong foundation as a Chef de Cuisine, Matt believes in using the freshest ingredients and creating everything in house from scratch.He wants to give his guests the highest quality and great tasting food at an affordable price, a relief to those of us who feel our economic / financial pain now more than ever, We are looking forward to Matts expression and creativity in the kitchen good things are coming!Come welcome Matt with us and enjoy a great meal and superior service from our especially friendly staff!
